George College, Kolkata is a premier academic and research institution situated in the state of West Bengal. The college was founded in 2000 with the goal of building an ideal learner-centric environment in which young people would be mentally, physically, and psychologically prepared for the requirements of modern Indian industry. George Group of Colleges, Kolkata are affiliated with MAKAUT(Maulana AbulKalam Azad University of Technology), University of Calcutta, University of Burdwan, WBUTTEPA( West Bengal University of Teachers Training Education Planning & Administration) and WBBPE (West Bengal Board of Primary Education). The college is approved by the Bar Council of India for LLB/BALLB course, by NCTE by the B.Ed course and by the WBBPE-West Bengal Board of Primary Education for D.El.Ed.

George Group of Colleges, Kolkata has five campuses namely George College, George College of Management and Science, George School of Law and George College Department of Education and Gayatri Chetna Foundation, Narendrapur.
